For more than 30 years, Selah Media Group was one of the nation’s leading faith-based newspaper and magazine publishers, producing award-winning regional monthly newspapers across California, Minnesota, and Washington. Our publications earned recognition for excellence in both print and digital media, building a legacy of trusted storytelling and meaningful community engagement.

That legacy inspired the creation of Selah Marketing.

We started this business with a simple goal: to build something exceptional and help others do the same. Launching a business takes courage—we know because we’ve done it. From growing a respected media company to building brands from the ground up, we understand the challenges, the risks, and the rewards of creating something that matters.

CEO

Lamar is the co-owner and CEO of Selah Marketing Group, where he has spent decades helping businesses and nonprofits communicate their mission with clarity and purpose. Over the course of his career, he has served as an editor, designer, business consultant, CFO, executive director of a nonprofit, and convention planner—bringing strategic leadership and practical insight to every role.

When he’s not working, you’ll likely find him managing his fantasy football team and confidently predicting this year’s champion.

Theresa

Creative Designer, Co Publisher

With more than 30 years of experience in the creative industry, Theresa has worn many hats—graphic designer, business owner, web content developer, nonprofit founder, and lifelong dreamer. She does her best thinking in quiet moments, where creativity has room to grow and ideas become solutions. Her workspace is surrounded by photos of the ocean and the beach, a daily reminder of her favorite place and a constant inspiration to keep dreaming of sand between her toes.
